NØ SCHOOL NEVERS 2026 is a unique international summer school, held in Nevers, in Burgundy, aimed at students, artists, designers, makers, hackers, activists and educators who wish to further their skills and engage in critical research around the social and environmental impacts of information and communication technologies.

Target group

NØ SCHOOL is a summer program for students, independent artists, researchers, and anyone looking for an intensive space to build technical skills and explore the intersections between technology and culture. Whether you’re developing ideas for an art-and-tech thesis, digging into critical questions around science and technology, or simply curious to learn through hands-on practice, the school offers a concentrated mix of learning, experimentation, and exchange.

Course aim

Over two weeks, participants dive into technical workshops, critical making sessions, evening talks, and collective discussions. The program ends with an exhibition and a series of public events where participants share what they’ve been working on.

Workshops and talks are led by artists, academics, hackers, critical makers, and designers from around the world. Each year’s topics shift according to our guests.
