Unleash your entrepreneurial spirit and learn all about innovation in the most innovative country in the world and discover your own entrepreneurial vision.

This is a practical course where participants will work on real business plans; learning how to pitch, manage and lead. You will learn the characteristics of innovators and how entrepreneurial activity systems are designed. You will also learn how to apply the entrepreneurial model of vision in order to understand entrepreneurial behaviour in a multicultural environment and use it as a basis for developing your own system of visionary thinking. This focus on visionary and entrepreneurial thinking will provide you with the conceptual framework required to undertake any kind of activity.

This Summer School is made up of two modules, each taking place over a period of two weeks. Participants may choose to take one or both modules.

Module I: Discovering Entrepreneurship and Innovation across culture

The course lays the foundation for entrepreneurial activities both inside and outside existing organizations, which is why visits to national and multinational start-ups are a vital part of our summer school. An entrepreneurial spirit is essential for this program as students are invited to bring their own business ideas to improve on, together with experienced entrepreneurs, coaches, professors and other international students. Participants will discover their own entrepreneurial visions, attend lectures and company visits, discuss case studies, and explore the Swiss entrepreneurial ecosystem while discovering the local culture participants will establish networks with the Swiss and connect with people from all over the world.

Module II: Bridging New Technology and Business

The second half of our summer school has two distinct themes: Digital Finance and Leadership. Students will learn, from experienced international guest speakers and professors, about the possible ways a start-up is financed (crowdfunding, raising capital online, etc) and modern digital finance solutions available to entrepreneurs, as well as consumers. Students will also learn about the evolution of management models and the innovative approach of self-management such as holacracy. This module will also be complemented with company visits, making it a very comprehensive program.
