The highly competitive business environment makes relentless demands for connecting with new sources of value. Competing and collaborating beyond national borders requires through understanding of culture, environment etc. To understand how businesses succeed and why they fail when they operate in different economic and business environment, the course will introduce the students to businesses in India, their distinctive features and various aspects of doing business in the country.

Due to Covid-19 precautions, this course may be arranged ONLINE instead of physical for the summer 2021. This will be confirmed by the end of April depending on the situation of COVID-19 around the world.

University students and graduates from around the world.

Course aim

Course specific goals:
This course is designed to develop capabilities for doing business in India which in turn requires thorough understanding of managing institutional and cultural diversity. The course will also help students to understand and prepare them for various kinds of risks including political risk and country risk.

Fee info

EUR 420: Course fee for students external to Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
EUR 0: Courses are free of charge to degree students and exchange students (academic year 2021-2022) of Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
