Geographic Migration Centre of Faculty of Science, Charles University, together with IOM International Organization for Migration Prague, cordially invites students and young professionals to Prague, for the Summer School on Migration, which builds on previous editions organized with partners (IMISCOE, CzechAid, OSCE) since 2009. The United Nations Information Centre Prague UNIC is a partner of the 2023 program. This year's event will focus on the integration of persons with international (temporary) protection.

University students and young professionals

Course aim

Experienced and respected scholars and practitioners (from international and non-governmental organizations) from various countries will take part in the Summer School while delivering lectures and/or leading seminars, workshops, panel discussions on issues closely related to migration. It will be examined from political, sociocultural, demographic, development, gender, environmental, economic and other perspectives.

Fee info

EUR 330: The fee includes six days of lectures, lunches, coffee break refreshments, learning materials, an introductory corporate dinner, and a cultural program.
The fee does not include transport and accommodation.
EUR 20: Accommodation can be arranged in the university halls of residence for the price of 20EUR per night.
