Urban Sustainability: Engage in the Future
In a world grappling with the challenges of climate and various other crises, cities play a critical role in understanding these issues and their impact on society's dependence on the natural environment.
Current crisis management strategies heavily emphasize green technology and technocratic solutions. However, it's becoming increasingly evident that we need a more inclusive, empowering, and strategic approach to address the challenges in order to become resistant against them.
At Masaryk University, you'll learn about designing resilient cities, use a diverse toolkit to engage with the public in order to ensure a quality of life even in times of crisis, adeptly collect and utilize data for policy formulation, and craft effective adaptation strategies.
This programme includes multi-day excursions to regional capitals.
