(2026 LSS) Geopolitics and Global Business

About

This course examines how today’s geopolitical shifts - US–China rivalry, Europe’s geoeconomic turn, the politicization of technology, wars and regional conflicts, and sharpening ideological divides - reshape the context of international business. Students learn how state and non-state actors influence markets and regulation, and practice core tools such as risk vs. uncertainty analysis, scenario work, and stakeholder/nonmarket strategy to support sound strategic choices. Teaching combines lectures, cases, and simulations to develop rigorous, agile thinking about doing business in a contested global environment.
