App Building

About

These days many organizations use mobile technologies to interact with their customers or make business processes smoother. But building a mobile app is often still considered a tedious task requiring programming knowledge and a lot of time. App Builders, like the free and powerful MIT App inventor (https://appinventor.mit.edu/), an online platform created and maintained by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, provide an easy and quick way to build a working app for Android and iOS smartphones. In this course students will get an introduction into the design process and learn how to build fully functional apps.
The course consists of several self-study units (+ any practice sessions), an individual project assignment at the end (this individual assignment would then have to be completed 2-4 weeks after the last unit. You will receive an official certificate.

Fee info

The course fee includes orientation & support course as described, teaching materials, certificate, use of library, participation in excursions and cultural program. The course fee does not include travelling expenses, accommodation and insurance.
