Atelier Emona 2024: Architectural Innovation and Sustainability in Ljubljana

Join us for Atelier Emona 2024, an intensive eight-day workshop in the heart of Ljubljana, Slovenia. This workshop is a unique educational experience that unites architecture students and young architects from around the world to collaboratively design and construct a wooden pavilion, showcasing the sustainable use of wood in architecture.

This Year’s Focus:
Our 2024 program is centered around the sustainable utilization of Slovenia’s rich forest resources. Participants will engage directly with wood as a primary material in green construction, exploring innovative design and building techniques to create a wooden pavilion. This hands-on project not only enhances understanding of timber structures but also promotes wood as a pivotal material for future architectural endeavors.
