In this module, you'll be introduced to the fundamental ethical issues in modern business. You’ll gain the critical thinking and decision-making skills necessary to successfully lead in business – skills that are also demanded by employers and society. You’ll examine ethical theory frameworks, for example utilitarianism and rights-based theory, and apply them to a variety of case studies that involve a diverse array of stakeholders. You’ll also explore the concept of corporate social responsibility and evaluate the various roles that business can adopt in diverse international contexts. By collaborating with other students and engaging in organised debates, you’ll gain multiple perspectives on key issues, such as corporate governance, employee rights, consumer protection and environmental preservation
