About

The Barcelona GSE Development Economics Summer School explores some of the most recent and exciting work in the field of economic development. Both theoretical and empirical aspects will be covered, with a precise focus on policy that improves economic well-being in poor and developing countries.

Course leader

Raül Santaeulàlia-Llopis, PhD, University of Pennsylvania, UAB and Barcelona GSE.

Target group

The courses should be of interest to graduate students or young academics who want to expand their knowledge and to acquire solid and practical tools for field work and large-scale interventions. During the course, faculty are available to discuss research ideas and projects with program participants.
