9th International DHC+ Summer School
Engaging District Heating and Cooling End-Users through Artificial Intelligence

Do you want to improve your knowledge of District Heating and Cooling? The DHC+ summer school is a week-long intensive training on District Energy conducted by renowned industry experts and academics. The teaching method is a perfect blend of theory sessions, practical exercises and site visits.

This year, the summer school will take place in Karlshamn, Sweden from 22-28 August 2021 and will focus on Engaging District Heating and Cooling End-Users through Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, on the agenda, you will find sessions on District Cooling, development of a DHC strategy and network design, sector integration, customer communication, digital study visits and hands-on workshops.

The programme is intended for students, PhDs or young professionals with a maximum of 2-year experience in the relevant field. Registrations are open until 31 July 2021 (or until fully booked).

The summer school is organised by the DHC+ Technology Platform c/o Euroheat & Power with the help of local hosts: NetPort Science Park, NODA Intelligent Systems, Halmstad University and Danfoss.

Fee

475 EUR, The participation fee covers the tuition fee, educational materials and transportation to sites. The participation fee amount will depend on the participant's status (Student - must provide a valid student ID / Professional) and whether or not your organisation is a Member of Euroheat & Power / DHC+ (check here). The fee includes the lunches, coffee breaks and networking dinners indicated in the programme. Travel costs, accommodation and other related expenses are neither included nor reimbursable.
