About

Granada International Doctoral Summer School in Entrepreneurship Research (GIDSSER) offers a great opportunity to expand our understanding of entrepreneurship as a societal phenomenon. The programme includes topics such as social entrepreneurship, the role of context in entrepreneurship research, identity and gender in entrepreneurship, inequality and entrepreneurship, as well as sustainability and entrepreneurship. In the session dedicated to each topic, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the state of the art, commonly used methods and theories, and potential new directions for research.

Our guest speakers in the different key topic sessions are: Ted Baker (Rutgers University, US), Matthew Grimes (Cambridge University, UK), Claire Leitch (Lancaster University, UK), Miruna Radu-Lefebvre (Audencia Business School, France) and Jeffrey York (University of Colorado Boulder, US).

GIDSSER is addressed to PhD students and researchers in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial management.

Course aim

GIDSSER aims to provide an opportunity for PhD students and researchers to expand their knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship as a societal phenomenon.

This Summer School also offers participants the opportunity to network with colleagues and leading researchers in the field, explore new avenues of thought, learn collectively, and exchange ideas.
