This course aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of Sicily's unique ecosystems, biodiversity, and the interplay between human activity and the natural environment. Through immersive fieldwork and interdisciplinary study, participants will explore the regionβs marine and terrestrial habitats, gaining practical skills in ecological research and sustainability. Students will also develop actionable insights into climate adaptation and regeneration, equipping them to address global environmental challenges within the context of a dynamic Mediterranean setting.
