European Business Challenges: Corporate Finance

About

The programme focuses on gaining a global understanding of the challenges faced by the European Union in the 21st century with a legal perspective on international relations, geopolitical policies and innovation law. The course includes lectures, workshops and real-life company cases, creating an interactive learning environment.

As a participant, you will have the opportunity to choose between four tailored options: Business Law, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Corporate Finance. Half of the classes will be given in this tailored option, whereas the other half are part of the main programme “European Business Challenges” of the Solvay Summer School.

Target group

The course is open to all students but we recommand some basis in Finance.
The target group is students in 3rd year Bachelor, Master or Post-Graduates in Business or Economics.

Course aim

The aim of the course is to give an understanding of the impact of decisions on the financial health of professional activities. Quantitative methods and analytical skills will enable you to become an expert in financial portfolio management.
