This English language short-term study abroad program takes place from 4 October 2013 - 11 October 2013 in the beautiful mediaeval southern German town of Sigmaringen.

The focus theme of this week-long seminar will be marketing communication. Lecturers are experienced professors from Germany and international guest lecturers. There will be lectures, case studies, a field trip to a regional company and - optionally - the final presentation of a compact student project.

Application period: 1 December 2012 - 31 December 2012. Accepted applicants will be noticed by 15 January 2013. Course fee (if applicable) has to be paid by 15 February 2013.

Target group

Junior and senior (i.e., 3rd year and above) Business students (Bachelor) interested in contemporary Marketing issues. Interested students with less than 3 study semesters are admitted only in exceptional cases. Master students will also only be accepted in exceptinal cases.

Pease contact the course leader for more information. In general, student participants from around the world are invited. As space is limited, a short informal application (short statement of motivation, short CV, intermediate grade report) to the course leader / contact is necessary.

Course aim

Course aim is to bring students from different countries and cultures together to work jointly on Marketing related projects. After successful completion of this seminar, participants will have gained an insight in the workings of marketing communication, including brand management, the psychology of communication, event communication and so on. An emphasis is put on the psychological side of marketing communication.
