Given the tremendous success of last year, NATO, Europol and The Hague Security Delta are excited to host another 50 students and young professionals, who will participate in the International Cyber Security Summer School. This year’s edition, which will take place in The Hague - from August 21st to August 26th, will focus on, inter alia, the contemporary developments and innovations in the field of cyber security, such as digital currencies, but also on cybercrime threats and trends (e.g. darkweb, crime as a service). Furthermore, you will be able to meet security professionals, working for various (inter)national public and private actors, such as the NCIA, Europol, the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice, etc.
When applying to this summer course you become eligible to be one of 50 participants who will gain first hand experience on working in the international domain of cyber security. The six-day program will be filled with interesting lectures, insiders’ perspectives, challenging group assignments and fun social activities, including visits and excursions to various institutions.

This summer school is organized by NATO NCI Agency, Europol, and The Hague Security Delta - and involves lectures of professionals working for a variety of international public, semi-public and private institutions (e.g. Eurojust, Cooperative Cyber Defenc
To be eligible for this program, you should fulfil the following criteria:
• You have the nationality of (a) an EU Member state, (b) a NATO member state, and/ or (c) a member state of NATO's Partnership for Peace program.
• You are (a) a doctorate student, (b) in the final year of your Master's or (c) a young professional with a maximum of 2 years working experience in the field of technical safety and security research (for example; cyber security, software engineering, digital forensics, computational science but also non-technical areas like security risk management or technical policy management).
• You have an updated Curriculum Vitae
• You are motivated to take this course, which is expressed in a letter of motivation
