This is the first of 2 modules in the 'Sports Management' Pathway. Students can take 1 or 2 modules.

• The sports management environment
• International sports policy, regulations and governance
• Entrepreneurship and social enterprise in sport
• Sport in the community
• Finance and funding
• Marketing and the role of social media
• Innovation in the sporting organisation

Open to all international undergraduate and postgraduate students, this programme will be particularly attractive to students with an interest in sports, management and entrepreneurship.

Course aim

The aim of the module is to develop an understanding of the management concepts, models and competencies applicable in an international sports management context.
