About

This dynamic course aimed at practical analytical skills involves academic classes, practical exercises, active group work, guest presentations from practice and field trips. It is ideal for students studying international relations, politics, security studies or policing, criminal studies, international relations, history or international law. The programme is ideally located for students to be able to gain an overview and basic grasp of modern security analysis from a European regional perspective on both the military and non-military security threats to international security.

This programme includes 3 muliti-day excursions to Budapest, Prague and Vienna.

Course aim

This program is designed to give students an understanding and experience of the application of key analytical approaches in international security as well as grasp their implications for the European and global security environment.

2675 EUR, Tuition fees include: Transportation for the weekend trips (Prague, Vienna, Budapest); accommodation in Brno and weekend trips; academic fees; academic trips; opening and closing receptions; culture activities around Brno. Students should budget an additional €400-1000 depending on their spending habits for food in Brno (breakfast, lunch, dinner), weekend trips (lunch and dinner) and fun "optional" activities in Brno, Vienna, and Budapest (the underground labyrinth in Brno, Budapest baths, bars, etc.)
