Multidisciplinary Research in Archaeology

About

This course has been developed to provide students with the skills and abilities needed to thrive in the increasingly multidisciplinary research environment of archaeology, where theoretical and methodological approaches from the humanities, social sciences, geosciences, biosciences and digital sciences are all brought together. The course is constructed to develop research and applicative skills giving access to both academic and professional settings (e.g. professional that want to acquire deeper understanding of post-excavation analyses). A key feature of the course is its hands-on research training in multiple areas within archaeology. Students will also be given extensive training in research skill and engage directly with and learn from outstanding local and international researchers.
