An 8-day residential course revolving entirely around project work for acting, directing and music theatre students as well as playwriting and other theatrical disciplines. Participants follow 2 out of the 8 course options throughout the week, but have the opportunity to experience the work of other options as well as engage in a shorter creative project

Target group

Theatre enthusiasts with varying degrees of skill and experience in creating theatre, from those starting out to those wishing to freshen their expertise or acquire new skills. Because we emphasise process over product (how we can do it, not how well we can perform), we are able to seamlessly encompass a wide range of age, experience and skills. LEATSS is essentially an adult school, but younger people are also welcome

Course aim

LEATSS provides quality professional tuition in all theatre disciplines in a safe, creative and supportive environment, emphasising project work over performance. The work is creative and inspiring, the pace impressive but rewarding, the atmosphere friendly and sympathetic, yet with time and place to relax and reflect
