A unique opportunity to become familiar with Islamic finance latest trends and practical application, through the lectures by eminent world experts in this field and to experience the spirit of Sarajevo and visit the biggest attractions in Bosnia and Herzegovina as one of the most famous touristic destinations in Europe. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a unique country where East and West meet, where different cultures and religions live together, a unique place where in the hundred meters away we have a mosque, a Catholic church Orthodox church and a synagogue that together defy time and various temptations for hundreds of years.

Participants should be International undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in Islamic studies, humanities or the social sciences, as well as professionals and others who are interested in developing their knowledge and expertise in the topics related to Islamic Banking and Finance.

Course aim

Sarajevo Islamic Finance Summer School (SIFSS 2019) enables participants to use this opportunity and to enhance and develop their knowledge and skills over a 4-day intensive programme in Sarajevo. The lectures will be held by the respected professors and professionals from School of Economics and Business Sarajevo, Bolton University United Kingdom, Markfield Institute United Kingdom, Durham University United Kingdom and many others. It will also provide you with extensive networking opportunities.
