The digital age brings endless possibilities as well as new challenges. Between constant notifications, online expectations, and the pressure to stay connected, it’s easy to lose track of your well-being.
This course invites you to pause, reflect, and discover how to find the balance and how to take back control. You’ll explore real-life scenarios, try out practical tools for stress management, and learn how to create spaces (online and offline) where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
Open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. students from all fields, the course goes beyond theory. You’ll gain everyday skills for healthier digital habits, empathetic communication, and building communities where everyone can belong. Whether you aim to help others in your professional career or simply take better care of yourself, this experience will equip you to thrive in today’s connected world.
This programme is designed as a part of our Intensive 2 Week Summer School, where multiple courses from a wide variety of Masaryk University study programmes and departments will be offered. These courses will be arranged in an intensive and dynamic form, each working day there will be an academic session. In the afternoon and evenings students come together from across disciplines to enjoy everything Brno has to offer!

This course is open to bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. students from a wide range of disciplines. It is particularly suited for those preparing for careers that involve working with people, such as in education, social services, healthcare, or related fields. While no specific prerequisites are required, participants should bring a genuine interest in social issues, human interaction, inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing

1250 EUR, €100 discount for students from partner universities
The cost of this program is €1350. The cost breakdowns as follows: Tuition fees; Accommodation in Brno (12-25 July); Orientation; Daily cultural and social activities including welcome and farewell receptions; Saturday trip to one of the local Czech UNESCO sites; 24/7 support. Students should budget an additional €200-500 depending on their spending habits for food (lunch, dinner) and other expenses. Public transport ticket is in additional costs.
