Czech Culture of the 20th Century

Due to the covid-19 outbreak, all programmes for 2020 have been cancelled.

During the summer program, participants will be offered a rich cultural program that will introduce the Czech Republic and Central Europe. The cultural program includes a guided tour of Brno, trips to Prague (2 days), Vienna and Budapest (3 days), an afternoon trip to Moravian Karst, and a welcome and farewell dinner.

Two modules:
- The 1960s in Czech Cinema – The Czech New Wave and Beyond
- Karel Čapek and Václav Havel – Theatre against Totality
