About

The Summer School of Sport Psychology is an intensive seven-day program designed for PhD students passionate about sport psychology. Hosted by Masaryk University, this event combines cutting-edge research with real-world applications, featuring interactive lectures, hands-on workshops, and expert-led panel discussions. Participants will explore key topics such as mental resilience, performance optimization, sports counseling, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in sports and more. With insights from leading experts and world-class athletes, such as Andrea Frith, Ricardo Lugo, JiΕ™Γ­ Welsch, Eric Franke, and more, Β this program offers a unique opportunity to expand research horizons, gain practical skills, and earn 4 ECTS credits.

Target group

PhD students in sport psychology and related disciplines

Course aim

After completing the course, students will be able to navigate the main areas of sport psychology with an emphasis on the focus on performance psychology. Furthermore, students will be able to apply acquired theoretical expertise and professional competencies in research and work with elite athletes.
